Health and Fitness
I’ve learned over the years that great success in life requires dedication, persistence, and work. For the past two years, I’ve been putting in the work to regain control of my health and fitness. While I have been getting more fit, my weight has been a roller coaster of disappointment! Two months ago I was introduced to a product called Shakeology and a program called 21 Day Fit by Beachbody. Long story short, I’ve pulled off 10lbs during the last five weeks!
The Shakeology is loaded with dense nutrients and has a great taste. If you’ll ever had a great milkshake, you’ll love this shake. Look for them here:
The 21 Day Fit program is all about eating sensible meals snacks and exercise. This program comes with everything you need to be successful and I’m available to help you out with any questions. Check out my website and look around:
Blessings and Peace Always,

Breath of Life

O Breath of life, come sweeping through us,
Revive Your church with life and power;
O Breath of life, come cleanse, renew us,
And fit Your church to meet this hour.
O breath of life, come sweeping through us
O breath of life, come cleanse, renew us
O love of Christ, afresh to win us
fill us with Your holiness
O Wind of God, come bend us, break us,
Till humbly we confess our need;
Then in Thy tenderness remake us,
Revive, restore, for this we plead.
O Breath of love, come breathe within us,
Renewing thought and will and heart;
Come, Love of Christ, afresh to win us,
Revive Your church in every part.

These beautiful words resonated with me years ago when I first heard them. The Lord put a “new song” on my heart and I set these lovely words to a new…

ebb and flow
“I lift my hands, my voice I raise
To You, I sing my songs of praise!” ~JH
Though days and nights may ebb and flow
up and down, around they go
our circumstances- much the same
but steadfast always is Your Name
My Solid Rock- Emmanuel!
When I choose to worship- all is well!
I lift my hands, my voice I raise
To You, I sing my songs of praise!
The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
One day that’ll be me
one day
we’ll look at our
wrinkled skin
our weathered lines
and wonder where
the time has gone
One day
we’ll remember
the dreams of our past
and see the gift of our
present-
unwrapping
and sharing
our memories-

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12
We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary this past weekend. It was a beautiful day- much like the day we got married. As we got out of our car for our lunch date, I noticed an elderly couple making their way up to the restaurant door. He leaned on his walker and pushed it forward inch by inch. She followed closely behind him- watching to make sure he didn’t stumble. Any other day, I might have sped up my walk to get to the door ahead of them. Not that day.

His Everlasting Arms
“When all we really need is a hug. He wants to be the one we reach for. He wants us to hold tight to His promise that these trials, and these feelings will not last forever.” ~JM
The eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are around you. Deuteronomy 33:27
It’s 10 in the morning. The kids are home again. The snow has pushed them outside of their routine, inside the house, and after only two hours they are bored. Cranky. Hungry. Frustrated. And everything in between.
And in desperate need of a break.
But, only one of these kids can actually express that. Can tell me he or she is bored. Cranky. Hungry. Frustrated. And everything in between.
Instead, this one simply grunts, kicks, screams, punches, and lays in a heap on the floor.
And both of us are in desperate need of a break. Some time apart before both of us explode.
“Hun, you have to use your words. If you are hungry, or need help you have to let me know so I can help you.”
Then this boy who needed a…
