One of My Favorite Verses
When we consider how loving and caring God is of the sparrow…. How awesome it is to know the magnification of His love and care toward you and me! Then to realize the all consuming desire of God to redeem His creation back to Himself, we too should find ourselves filled with an all consuming desire for Him! To think, His word tells us, “behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Revelation 3:20 NASB. I see Him desiring to spend time at ease with you and me, engaged in loving time together! Funny stories, words of tender care and encouragement, seeds of His great love sown deep that bring forth a harvest of epic proportion in your life and mine; then this bounty spills over into the lives of those all around us, glorifying the “Name above ALL names”, Jesus Christ, God’s very best to you and me and for all!

I recently joined an on-line Bible study sponsored by Proverbs 31 ministries at the urging of a fellow Christian sister. During the study we will be reading and reflecting on the book Made to Crave by Lysa TerKeurst. I had read the book at a church bible study previously, but cannot honestly say that I had applied many of Lysa’s suggestions and insights to my own life, or to my own relationship with God.
As I have been thinking about what I am hoping to learn and how I am hoping to grow this time around after reading it, I cannot help but think about how I want to crave more of Him in my life all the time.
